The Autonomous Non-profit Organization Directorate of International Transport Corridors and Russian sealing operator Digital Platforms Development Center signed a partnership agreement

The companies intend to develop and enhance mutual professional cooperation in improving the transport complex, including international transport corridors.

The Autonomous Non-profit Organization Directorate of International Transport Corridors (ANO DITC) has been established by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 969-r. dated April 10, 2020. ANO DITC will participate at the state level in improving the efficiency of international transport corridors, including preparing proposals for the development of transport infrastructure.

Digital Platforms Development Center LLC and ANO DITC will cooperate to develop digital solutions to eliminate logistical restrictions in the transport of goods and reduce administrative barriers when crossing international borders.

“The market is interested in increasing the volume of goods movement, the development of non-resource exports and an increase in the incomes of domestic producers, including through the use of digital technologies on international transport corridors. The digitalization of the logistics industry is a matter of the competitiveness of the companies. Technologies applied by the Russian sealing operator Digital Platforms Development Center will contribute to increasing the efficiency of all participants of transportation and logistics activities”, comments Aleksey Petrov, ANO DITC CEO.

Digital solutions currently used to track the transit transportation of goods through the Russian Federation can be applied to perform other tasks to improve the efficiency of international transport corridors. ANO DITC and DPDC LLC are going to conduct tests on the use of electronic navigation seals in goods transportation. The test results will be taken into account in subsequent events for the digitalization of the transport industry.

“The digitalization of transportation processes and the use of electronic controls and cargo protections will allow major international forwarders to redirect some of their cargo flows to Russia. They will be able to deliver goods faster and cheaper; the use of an electronic navigation seal makes the delivery safe”, comments Artem Popov, Project Management Department Director, DPDC LLC.
